Microsoft revamps the Microsoft Teams Store

Microsoft has announced that they will be rolling out a redesigned Microsoft Teams Store soon.

With the redesigned Teams Store, users will find a landing page optimized for easy findability with rotating banners at the top highlighting apps and scenarios of interest. They will also see intelligent recommendations for apps that are popular with their colleagues and all users in Teams.

Microsoft Teams update helps you focus during meetings

Microsoft has also added new managed surfaces that show collections of apps common in apps to help you get started in Teams. Microsoft has also updated app categories to make it easier to find the apps you want — from apps built by your organization and colleagues to apps built for specific roles and industries.

The new navigation experience includes:

  • Top spinning banners highlighting interesting apps and scenarios
  • Intelligent recommendations for apps that are popular with your colleagues and all users in Teams
  • New curated surfaces showing collections of apps
  • Updated app categories to make it easier to find the apps you want

Microsoft expects the rollout to begin in late November and expects the rollout to be complete in all environments by mid-December.
