The Microsoft Immersive Reader is a free tool, built into Word, OneNote, Outlook, Office Lens, Microsoft Teams, Forms, Flipgrid, Minecraft Education Edition, and the Edge browser, that implement proven techniques to improve reading and writing for people of all ages. to improve. Immersive Reader creates a learning environment that is accessible to readers of all levels and ages. Immersive Reader helps students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, with text decoding solutions and help build reader confidence through features such as Line Focus and Picture Dictionary.
Immersive Reader

To enable parents to support students of all reading levels or those who have difficulty reading or writing due to dyslexia or dysgraphia, Microsoft has built learning tools such as Immersive Reader into our educational experiences, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Edge, Teams, OneNote, Flipgrid and Minecraft: Education Edition. Today, Immersive Reader empowers more than 23 million people with dyslexia and learning disabilities each month. Recently, Microsoft announced that Immersive Reader is integrated into our Microsoft Edge browser, allowing students to choose how they want to read online and helping caregivers remove distractions.
