Soon-to-be custom branding of Teams to join meetings

Microsoft has announced a new release of Meeting Join Custom Branding that allows administrators to upload their company logo to the Teams management portal so that it appears on the pre-join and lobby screens for meetings hosted by members.

This update gives users who participate in your meetings a brand experience that is typical of the tenant. The feature is implemented as a meeting policy to give administrators the choice and flexibility to apply the logo to certain members or globally.

Multiple logos can be uploaded at once, so you can assign different logos to different people or groups if that’s convenient for businesses.
Administrators have the option to preview what the logo looks like before uploading.

The logo will be seen by users participating on desktop, internet and mobile.

The feature is part of the Advanced Communications license, which means that the logo only appears if the meeting organizer is licensed. The rollout of this feature will begin and be completed by the end of July.
