Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (preview) risk assessment now included in device compliance on iOS.

Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (formerly Microsoft Defender ATP) risk assessment settings for iOS compliance policies are now available in public preview in the Microsoft Endpoint Manager admin center. Microsoft are excited to share this public preview, as several customers have been waiting for this opportunity. Customers can find the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint setting when they create a new device compliance policy for iOS, where they can set devices to be marked as incompatible if a specific risk score for the machine (Clear, Low, Medium, High) is not met.

App availability

The Defender for iOS app is available in public preview via TestFlight. To install the app, end users can visit https://aka.ms/defenderios on their iOS devices. This link opens the TestFlight application on their device or asks them to install TestFlight. In the TestFlight app, follow the on-screen instructions to install Microsoft Defender.

Connect iOS devices to Defender

To complete the scenario, make sure you’ve established the right connection for iOS devices between Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint in your connector configuration. Please note that both products must have the correct license to make the scenario work.
