Microsoft Teams adds a history navigation menu.
The Microsoft Teams client for desktop is a hugely complex app, which is one of the main problems users face when comparing to other apps like Slack.
Microsoft seems to be aware of the problem, and one of the new items in the roadmap for the app is a new navigation feature for the app.
Microsoft writes:
Microsoft Teams: History menu
The Team Desktop Client history menu displays your recently visited locations as you move the navigation options back and forward. The menu allows you to quickly jump back to previous locations, making it much easier to quickly return to nested locations such as tabs or documents. The menu is also accessible via a shortcut.
The feature is conceptually similar to the history drop-down lists in File Explorer or Edge and should help users navigate the app more easily.
The feature is currently in development and should appear in the app in February 2021.
