Microsoft Office 365 for Mac: Download Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and others from the App Store

For Apple users who want to use Microsoft’s Office software on a Mac, iPad, or iPhone, you can easily download the entire Office 365 bundle or one of the individual apps from the Mac App Store. The Office 365 bundle includes six apps: Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive, OneNote, Outlook, and Word, each of which can also be downloaded separately. There’s a one-month free trial for Office 365, after which the subscription costs $69.99 per year or $6.99 per month. If you already have an Office 365 subscription, you can use it here. As part of the subscription, software updates are automatically applied when they are rolled out.

In an Apple press release, Vice President Phil Schiller said, “Apple and Microsoft have worked together from the beginning to provide Mac users with great Office productivity. With Office 365 in the Mac App Store, it’s now easier than ever to download the latest and greatest version of Office 365 for Mac, iPad, and iPhone.”
