Microsoft is working on a simple update to the Teams collaboration platform that should fix the most common video conferencing issue.
A new entry in the Microsoft 365 product roadmap shows that the company will soon be implementing a new keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + Space) that will allow Teams users to temporarily mute themselves during meetings.
The shortcut works in much the same way as a walkie-talkie, opening the microphone as long as the user holds down the two keys.

It’s not exactly a complex feature, but Microsoft still needs to test it. Currently, the new shortcut is scheduled to be released at the end of October for all users.
